Brenda Banks, MA, M.Ed, LPC
Brenda Banks, MA, M.Ed., LPC, is a psychotherapist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She is a former Gwinnett County elementary school counselor and graduate of Liberty University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling. Prior to her post-graduate work, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
Brenda specializes in social skill development, developmental disorders, anxiety, and coping with life transitions. She works with clients in both individual and group settings. In addition to traditional talk therapy, Brenda has experience in facilitating play therapy and age-appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Brenda is a native of the Atlanta area and is a wife and mother of three. She recognizes the uniqueness of each individual and works with clients and their families to help them reach their goals and potential. She uses an integrative approach to counseling that includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other therapeutic techniques to best meet the needs of her clients. Brenda currently sees clients exclusively at our Johns Creek location.
